- See Jersey Boys or Billy Elliot
- Go to a Mets- Yankees Game
- Take a walk in Central Park
- Visit the New York Public Library (this is high on my list!!!)
Highlights of Washington D.C.:
- Go to a Washington Nationals Baseball game
- Visit Mount Vernon
- See a jazz show at Blues Alley in Georgetown
- Eat a cupcake at Red Velvet (The vanilla is great)
- Visit the FDR Memorial
It was wonderful to spend July 4th in our nation's capital!
I was particularly touched to see the documents that founded the United States of America- the historian in me wanted to study them all day!
It was wonderful to spend this time with my parents. Now, back to raising support and preparing to move to Oklahoma!! I hope to be Sooner-State bound in 4 weeks!!!
